Where do you stand on bagged salads?it's something I told my parents over christmas as well when I looked in their fridge and saw random tubs of APPLE SLICES and GRAPES. i mean fuck me.

I don't do pre-prepped fruit, but I can't imagine life without bagged salad leaves.
If ever I have a pang of guilt I console myself by thinking I don't drive or do the absolute worst thing for the environment (i.e. having children), and then give myself a free pass.Jark honey, I am not cutting a pineapple or mango, I’d sooner the planet BURNS.
Omg we're going to heavenIf ever I have a pang of guilt I console myself by thinking I don't drive or do the absolute worst thing for the environment (i.e. having children), and then give myself a free pass.
I go past one some days on the way home and occasionally pick something up. Often fine for making soup, or I just drop the dodgy stuff along the river for the squirrels on the way home. We've got one of those £1 a bowl fruit and veg stalls, but the quality is always hit and miss.
My nearest supermarket since moving is a Co-Op and the prices are honestly fucking DISGUSTING. The other day I saw a 4-pack of kitchen roll for over £9![]()
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THEM!
The shelves are always HALF EMPTY as well.
Our Co-op is fine for shelves. But I don't remember the last time I went that at least two fridges or freezers weren't out of action.WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THEM!

They sell SHELVES?Our Co-op is fine for shelves. But I don't remember the last time I went that at least two fridges or freezers weren't out of action.
Have you tried to cut a mango? It ends up a soggy mess. It’s about the only thing I DO by pre-prepared.buying pre-cut fruit in a plastic tub is hideous for the environment. there are so many fruits in plastic that don't need to be and certainly not FRUIT. buy some unpacked fruit and cut it yourself!
Thanks for that. I've just been to Lidl and spent every minute wishing it was M&S food hallWe’ve been buying more and more from
M&S and everything is so fucking delicious. I’ve just had some spanish tortilla that shits all over sainsburys version
For vegan ranges Asda is the worst.
Asda have a better selection of sweets
Asda is absolute trash. They know their market and they stick to it. It's more about range and image rather than cost these days, in a world with Aldi and Lidl outpricing everyone.Asda in a nutshell then
There's something unquestionably gross about Asda - I think that horrid green everywhere doesn't help, but it's just shit and reminds me of a larger Iceland, except even Iceland in their smaller stores seem to have a better range. Asda is truly the last resort. Well, after Co-op probably.
I'm an Aldi till pro. Don't fill up you trolley at the till, that's what the benches are for. This isn't Tesco. Monsters.I love Aldi but I still think there's not that much choice and it pisses me off you can rarely buy fruit or veg not wrapped in pointless plastic. Also the tills are very stressful, and always busy and in deathly silence, to the point I always panic and never quite know what to DO when it's my turn![]()
