It feels like we're on a run similar to 2009-11. I can see this being like Blue all over again, we'll probably have one of the best songs and a favourite but end up around the 5-10 position. Which let's face it is as good as a WIN
Which two fossils will be representing us in 2025 and 2026?

He's good at Eyes Shut and his more ballady songs.

It's when he has to go up tempo and tries to throw in lots of riffs and runs that he loses it. And sadly those are his best songs.

London or failing that, Harrogate.

World cities ONLY please.

Despite appearances, Cheadle Village Hall has a capacity of 85,000...

Will the much maligned Stratford Orb be done in time?

I'm late to the party here. I've wanted Years and Years for years :basil: :basil: but now I'm hearing that he's rubbish live, so I will temper my expectations.

That being said, given that the BBC are usually still scrambling around for an act in January, and Ollys comments suggesting this was signed off back in September/October time, suggests they are not pissing around and the days of BBC introducing and You Decide are behind us(for now at least).

I am confident he will have a banger. So its promising. Some great backing vocals over a stomper of a chorus should do the trick

I'm a bit concerned for Rolly; he's not one to listen much to managers, nor someone inclined to take the easy route by entering a beautiful ballad or basic banger. I sense he might try to prove himself with a complex, dark composition and could end up with a 'Statements'-like mess on stage, without the vocals to fall back on.

That being said, he's easily the most interesting UK representative this century! :D

I would honestly kill for us to have a chaotic high-art Statements moment.

My favourite R Olly('s fudge) track is this:

So I'm hoping Danny gives us a FLAGRANT SOUNDALIKE with minimal opportunity for vocal disaster.

He’s already confirmed it’s not a ballad so I think we’re safe.

Internet sleuths reckon the song is called ‘Dizzy’.

wasn't there a press report a month or so back that Olly was releasing a song written by Dua? Dua worked closely with Danny L Harle on the majority of her new album. so it seems like this may be a cast-off from that.

That appears to have been clickbait / extrapolation of Danny L Harle's involvement. They've been making a big deal of his involvement and said that it was co-written with Olly, so I'm hoping that it doesn't turn out to be a Dua reject as initially suspected.

The Big Ben photo is an edited version of an old stock photo that shows the same time on the clock. (Unlike the bus that has had its number changed). In any case, the clock is showing 4:11.

Someone in the comments has pointed out that there are 9 😵‍💫 emojis on the phone box, so that is the "I" accounted for as opposed to the clock hands.

Thankfully it looks like it's only the Torygraph who are running with this.
