girl you just be saying words sometimes.
Imagine not getting the joke :D But I know people like to be selective. Regardless, what I said still stands true. I don't think the Democrats had any real hope in a Kamala win against Trump. It's not my fault people drank the Kamala koolaid and it left them with nothing but diarrhea.

Why have Arizona and Nevada not declared yet?

Sorry this argument is SO DUMB! As if the swing in those 3 states doesn’t EXIST IN THE CONTEXT of the swing right nationally.

True, but when all the votes are counted it looks as though the national swing might only end up being around 1.5-2% anyway, so it's not entirely outlandish.

He won the popular vote by 4 million. For 2024, that would be considered somewhat of a "landslide", wouldn't it? Especially for a Republican.

Also swing isn't uniform and the whole idea of voter efficiency is to focus on where votes matter rather than just running up the numbers in say, New York.

Though it is a stupid system and they really should just be electing presidents on the popular vote

There's still over half of California to come in, so that figure should narrow.

Cold comfort but y'know.

Why are people on social media so shocked that she "underperformed Biden"? I find it a very unrealistic expectation.

Nevada becomes the fourth of the seven swing states in which, a Democratic senator wins despite Trump taking the state.

Pennsylsvia has a slim chance of making it 5/5. Georgia and North Carolina had no senate elections this time.

It is obviously easy to say this with hindsight, but it looks like the election was lost when Biden decided to even attempt to run for re-election. By the time he stood down, Harris was the only reasonable replacement and she has turned out to be a mediocre candidate who couldn’t distance herself from her boss’s unpopularity.

Unfortunately whilst they’ve been doing that NJ and Illinois have veered pretty uncomfortably close to Swing State territory!
