westworld season 3

Where do you read all those theories?
(My only contact with the TV world is the few friends that watch same shows and Moopy)
 
Lol that was a good fucking reveal. Also great episode all around, from the orchestral version of Wicked Games and the cool fight scenes. Best episode so far.
 
I loved the music, and the twist/reveal was unexpected, but honestly I couldn’t wait for the episode to finish.
 
i thought it was a great episode and i loved the reveal.

100% rooting for dolores but i do hope maeve has a different plan to the two very basic options serac offered her. i'm struggling with her motivation when it comes to her daughter who dumped her for another woman :(

and another, rather silly thing - do hosts peep and poop? i guess we're meant to believe they do, i mean why else drink beer or sherry, but why? it seems so unnecessary from a practical perspective.

Maeve (and some of the hosts) are tricky ones now; if they can just keep reprinting them there's zero jeopardy if they're in danger. I was very sad about her finally being killed off but then remembered there's a good chance she'll just pop up again next week.

oh maeve is far from out. but she deserved to die this episode if only for those shoes.

someone was comparing her to neo (control over the machine) vs dolores as agent smith (replicating herself) in the matrix which i enjoyed. i hope we have a proper face-off.

followed by a hot duet, of course *.*

I haven't watched last night's yet but the genre episode was, I don't know, I guess it was good and with rehoboam fleshed out. the car chase with the explosions was cool (although is that really the FASTEST you can get your car to go, Dolores?)

The genre episode was my least favorite, the whole Genre drug concept fell flat and it served nothing other than to add cheap filters.

Last night was better.
 
i thought the genre storyline was very anti-climatic. i've gotten more wasted on bacardi breezers!
 
I watched both episodes today. The genre episode was okay, at least we know more about Cassel’s background. The latest episode was better but I still barely understand what’s going on with William.
 
Well I'm just very confused now. But that's par for the course with Westworld.
 
It’s been very enjoyable if you try not to over think it. ZOMBIE DOLORES May be pushing it though, and I could’ve done without the Williams Anonymous meeting. It seems like he’s about to team up with the two dullest characters though and hide them some semblance of a story line/intrigue.

There’s 4 Doloreseses? Dolores, Hale, Samurai Man and Doloreses Scottish assistant?

Why is Bernard there?

Aaron Paul is a Machine? Is he Dolores too?

Dolores wants to stop French man from getting all of the human data that was at the park as she thinks humans should make their own choices which she wasn’t allowed to in the park? Why does his round machine need this - it seems pretty successful already??

Maeve is helping French man because she wants to see her daughter again?

All relevant questions, yes. Most of all I wonder why Maeve couldn’t just create a new copy of her daughter. Or is that impossible?
 
nah, he's flesh and blood (otherwise the genre drug wouldn't have had an effect)

but what about William? what is this "unknown protein" that came up on the screen when they did his blood test? is he somehow robotic too?

that’s the tracker that Charlotte injected in him at the end of episode 4 so they can locate the facility which I believe it’s the same one that Serac sends his undesirables to (like his brother).

@PercyPig, Serac is not going to use Delos's data for Rehoboam. he's deleting it to ensure nothing comes in the way of "the right trajectory", and he needs Dolores for the key to the encrypted data
 
Renewed for a fourth season. I thought this would be its last (and it certainly feels like it will all end).
 
Ugh, I don’t know if I want another season.

HBO needs some proper new drama, their current 1 hour series are pretty thin looking now:

  • Westworld
  • Succession
  • My Brilliant Friend
  • Gentleman Jack
  • Euphoria
  • His Dark Materials

Hopefully Succession can last another 2-3 seasons, if they can keep it as sharp and funny.
 
The current schedule is 2 years so I’d say 2022 unless we get another Corona shut down.

They have the Perry Mason show that I believe is not a limited series. Also the Mark Ruffalo mini and the Nicole Kidman mini series.

Euphoria was barely concealed trash with a great soundtrack but do we know if they wrapped filming before Covid?
 
I think I saw a release date for Euphoria. I need a new season this summer.
 
I've given up on this - far too convoluted for my corona-addled brain. I was really only watching to see Maeve camping it up like an extra from a Carry On movie, but I'm starting to get tired of her going in circles.
 
I'm still watching, and thought this season started strong, but my interest has waned. I would have been happy for it to be the last as well.

I read they wanted four seasons going in so guess that might actually be it.
 
The current line is six seasons but the ratings have been super low. But also they need content because it’s the age of streaming.

Oh, another three seasons feels a stretch and then some. It looks bloody expensive for low rating filler too.
 
apart from a scene too many of Caleb's bewilderment I thought this was a stellar episode. I'm so happy

this wasn't the end of Dolores :disco: get fucked, Maeve!
