The vet has been in touch and seems happy with Heathcliffs readings. Apparently the urine strips I'm using are very sensitive but even the highest reading is still considered fairly low in terms of diabetes. And his levels are something you'd hope to see on a cat using insulin. So he thinks he's stable and to continue wee checking :zombie:

It is, far better than what I'd been reading and expecting. I'd convinced myself his levels were crazy high, but then I don't understand what I'm comparing it to.

This does hopefully mean Mandy and I can still go to London to see Westlife in two weeks :disco:

Update - it's going to a CLOSING DATE next week, so I have another week of thinking about it all the time :D Great! Though hopefully I'll get some movement on getting my flat sold between now and then...
 
Mr Sheena has a fucking throat infection (I'm still wondering if it's Covid but negative tests so far) and I'm at the end of a week of sofa sleeping thanks to the athletics. I'm absolutely exhausted and was so looking forward to my own bed tonight but I don't want to be anywhere near HIM. UGH.

I’m off to Dublin on Thursday so I’m not going near anyone until then. Isn’t it lovely to live in a world where you have to plan HIBERNATION around your trips to avoid catching some virus on the WHO watchlist? :)
 
Just got home to find a letter from a property auction place, basically saying "we see your place is on the market, if it goes tits up and you can't find a buyer let us know and we can FLOG IT OFF CHEAP for you!". This has done nothing to quell my anxiety :D
 
I haven't eaten since noon and I won't eat until noon tomorrow. Actual hell.

Let's plan our 20 year anniversary celebrations there, but long to go so we need to get planning :o
 
I have quite a few memories of that moopmeet. David taking Xerox and me to a rough as fuck gay bar he knew the night after most of you left. Nike waiting for us at the bus station. That club we went to on the Saturday night where there was some very tired and emotional behaviour from some. The rest of you staying in a shitty two star somewhere while I booked myself alone into a four star, where there was a fire alarm at about 3am and I was freezing my bollocks off in only my pants and a towel outside for about half an hour.

Oh yes I think I only stayed one night didn't I? I was worried you'd all be nutjobs so I didn't want to commit to more :D
