Lana Del Rey - Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd (24 March 2023)

Could do with an edit but I appreciate the looks. The Marilyn set up and re-creation of the BTD look were great.

I'm obsessed with this...
Candy necklaces

I heard she was kinda shit and didn't sing much. how is fucking Pretty When You Cry still on the setlist? no Cinnamon Girl, West Coast or Doin' Time, but she's serving Bartender? she really just can't be bothered. the poor crowd for that Hyde Park show are in for a real surprise.

Bartender is just an interlude isn't it.?

A&W "shortened" - so I guess she cut out the second half?

AU CONTRAIRE HUN, she sings the Jimmy Jimmy song which isn't too shabby.

As always she relies heavily on Born to The Die to get the crowd going. I'm not complaining but she KNOWS people are not there to hear her sing 24, Text Book, Love, nor the grandfather over his shoulders song.

:D:disco: Sounds hot. Did she dish up CARTWHEELS instead or just serve a lot of lying down?

She actually had a concept!

Came out wearing a BLONDE wig and some FRUMPY outfit and as the show went on she stripped down to a babydoll dress and her NATURAL brunette hair :disco:

She doesn't need back up dancers, but here we are! and they're wearing platform FILA sneakers :eyes:

Well who on earth needs MUCH SINGING with that parade of exciting fashions? Which obviously took MANY EFFORT

I've watched the show THREE times since yesterday and it's getting me all hyped up for her show down here. She'd better incorporate Peppers into her setlist come August.

I don't think she's EVER going to sing Blue Jeans properly, she sounded WORSE than on her infamous SNL appearance, what an ICON.

I heard that Sam Smith will be turning up in one of their circus outfits to sing VULGAR with her as Madonna will have been blocked by then :disco:

She was also the 2nd most streamed female this past month:

More hot chart updates:

still routinely smashing all her own records on spotify

Radio seems to be smashing in the German speaking countries for some reason (26 on spotify Austria, 33 in Switzerland).
Say Yes to Heaven has already overtaken A&W (both 77m). Paris, Texas just hit 35m and Let the Light In not far behind with 32m.
In older song news, The Greatest will shortly hit 100m, and Salvatore (112m) has overtaken Freak to become the #3 most streamed on Honeymoon. :disco:

Just release some BTD-era-sounding songs again then you BITCH. I don't see For Free or Yosemite breaking any records soon hun!

Also the resurgence of "Radio" is reigniting my love for it. That bridge / last chorus is euphoria.

SWEET like CINNAMON
like a fucking dream I'm LIVING IN

I finally FOUND YOU

Already covered in the Glastonbury thread, but she turned up half an hour late for her set and her mic was cut off with 6 songs still to play. Queen?

BBC News - Glastonbury review: Guns N' Roses are sporadically brilliant, while Lana Del Rey is cut short
It's pretty poor form. And a shame as the setlist was a good one for fans from what I saw. I was drunkenly watching the footage last night and thought she'd decided to just not play the hits.

apparently the stage was 30 mins behind schedule all day so she's getting stick for being cut off, but honestly it just seems like bad luck for her.

reviews have been raves though, 5 stars in the Guardian, some people saying it's her best performance/set in years or ever. I think she'll get a big chart boost this week.
