Imagine how different the election would look if all the big pop queens grew a backbone and endorsed Kamala. A lot of them don't want to risk damaging record sales.

The combined fandoms of the big stars would massively raise the youth vote and make a huge difference to the swing states.

can't tell if this is satire. but I don't think a bunch of millionaire popstars easily framed as out of touch liberal elites are going to swing anything.

The one time Taylor Swift made a big deal of breaking her apolitical stance and endorsed a candidate they LOST.

She endorsed Biden/Harris in 2020 and she didn't publicly endorse Hillary in 2016 (which she regretted later on, didn't she?).

Fully expect an endorsement before or during the US tour dates in October/November - and the timing of those 9 dates right before the elections doesn't feel like a coincidence either.

I disagree. Trump's main route to power is a massively unbalanced median age voting block. Pop star endorsements are just as powerful as Rock The Vote is - kids today will do anything their idols tell them.

The liberal elite narrative is only for people whose mind is already made up. Taylor Swift isn't there to win their vote. She's to encourage millions of young people who simply couldn't be arsed.
