I've never watched Limitless Win, but if Ant & Dec can't lift it much over 3.5m, it must be a pretty useless format.

I don’t think it has ever been particularly popular ratings wise which begs the question WHY is it still running?

I guess it's because they have paid Ant & Dec millions and are out of fresh ideas of what to do with them.

That's down over 900k (22%) for Dancing On Ice compared to the series premiere last year. And last year was already was the lowest ever.

They need to axe it, to save us from ourselves

Hmm at the entries from the BBC being two from the Paradise stable and two veteran shows.

Saying that, Ludwig would feature if they weren't calling it a comedy.

That's a good point, actually. I wonder what their most successful new launches were?

Viewing breakdown shows that 40% of the audience for The Traitors is on catch up.

I can't imagine choosing not to watch live. I'm already pissed off I've got the theatre tomorrow evening.

Mr Bates Vs The Post Office was monumental in the grand scheme of things and the attention it then brought back to the problem in hand was more than commendable. I can’t really remember anything more in this day and age that has brought such a big ignored problem back in to the public consensus. The drama itself was also so well done.

Yes, I know. ITV. Blah blah, but that was a moment and the viewing figures speak for themselves.

I don't think anyone would dispute it, ITV or not.

That figure for Gladiators is lower than every episode except one of the first BBC series, which was the first semi final.

I fully imagined that the new series would open considerably lower than last year (8.364m) but hoped it would be nearer 6m or so. Still, I guess there's reason to hope it won't haemorrhage viewers the way the first did over the course of its run, given that the novelty has worn off now. If it dips much below 4m I find it hard to think the BBC will stick with it.

@Rita no Love Island data yesterday as Thinkbox didn't update until today.

Average of 1.490m. That doesn't include platform (i.e. non TV viewing) though.

That must be about double the live viewers then. Not bad going after all.

Even more than that - if you look at the episode on 14th (the highest rated of the week), only 21% of the audience was live. A further 32% was not live but viewed the same day (and these two figures comprise the overnight figures often reported), and the remaining 47% was catch up over the following 6 days.

I do think the audience can probably be considered disappointing compared what may have been hoped for, but it's still getting an audience share of between 11.5% and 15.2% for ITV2, and still getting by far the largest percentage share of the 16-24 demographic on commercial TV, so I'm sure it still attracts good advertising revenue.

The Traitors: Uncloaked got 5.757m for the final episode on BBC1. I don't know the figures for BBC2 for the rest of the week though (other than all being lower than the 2.982m that the #50 show of the week got), so I can't calculate the average.

Dancing On Ice out of the top 50. Thinkbox reports 2.779m which excludes platform viewing.

1.520m average for Love Island All Stars, so up very slightly on the first week.

This account seems to be slightly dodgy with how it has rounded decimals for The Traitors finale at least, and I haven't checked the figures for SCD and IACGMOOH, but this is pleasing if true.

I am intrigued to see how Celebrity Traitors fares here later this year. Particularly when compared to the US version where all the celebs are reality stars who I imagine will be far more inclined to play the game harder than some of the names we've seem mentioned.

Some are saying that it is averaging 1.6 million without device viewing. It was apparently getting over 500k on devices last year so that would put it at over 2 million which is on par with last year? I don’t have a clue where anyone is getting these figures from though.

Apparently last Sundays episode was the most viewed episode of the season so far. :o
