Actually this is quite upsetting.
The entire thread is full of jokey posts from everyone, and yet when I come in suddenly it all goes up a notch and everyone is pointing fingers at me.
Look at the other pages in this thread and you'll see what I mean.
 
I'm sorry Suedey, it's nothing personal (and I was aiming it just as much at @KindaCool) but how many times are we literally going to have the exact same conversation about her? She used prominent backing singers on a couple of singles TWENTY YEARS AGO, she 'stole' a sample from Mariah THIRTY YEARS AGO. It's literally just the same stuff over and over again.

And that's fair enough, but the turn this thread has taken does feel personal to me.
In fact, it does often feel that what I post is either intentionally or unintentionally interpreted in a way to make me look bad when I have no bad intentions (and this is not just directed at you).
It's probably just me but maybe it's time for me to take a break.
 
I barely even said anything. I even agreed with Sheena that Mariah also had help from "men in suits". This discussion is not exclusive to JLo nor to Moopy.

Look at the comments on her announcement on this recent popular post. People who know the story of her career have always brought up this "conversation".

It's only destroying SOME members. It's apparently killing them inside that some pop stars have no talent. The rest of us are NOT BOTHERED.

Girl you're the only one who keeps bringing Mariah up. Mariah/Glitter or not, JLo just isn't a musically talented person. Her new music is shit. Every time I see a post on her releasing new music (or even anything!) the comments section is full of people talking about her lack of singing and writing skills.

To be fair Kindacool, you've actively made threads calling her a skank in the past, so I can see why people might be inclined to read your posts about her with an awareness of misogyny.
 
Not for me, a proper rebound would be On The Floor 2.0 and boy is this drip feed of rehashes killing my buzz for this final flush. I need to Google when the movie premiers to plan my free trial accordingly.
