And just like that, I finished watching this crap.

The cameo was indeed longer than expected but it was treated like a paranthesis and therefore felt quite insulting to Samantha. Wasn’t they supposed to have fallen out with each other? I expected Carrie to be more surprised and happier to recieve the call.

The waiting five years thing is so stupid, who fucking writes this show?
 
this should only return if they find a way to get rid of King. that man does not know how human beings talk, interact or think :D it's almost impressive actually. surely SJP can just write the scripts herself.

I hope we don’t see podcasting colleague (plus incompetent seamstress wife) and jewellery woman again (whom for a hot minute I thought was going to fuck Che).

I do wonder if we’ll see Che again. They tried to redeem the character and, by the end, had them as obnoxious as ever.
 
Why was Che seated next to Carrie (after all the shit she did to Miranda she shouldn’t even be invited) while Miranda was far away next to TLW (who barely knows Carrie)?
 
Also that dinner party was awful. Random people with no common thread apart from Carrie all slung together to small talk the fuck out of each other. And then Carries shit game. I was watching it thinking “what would I say? WHAT WOULD I SAY!!?”
 
I loved that Samantha phones Carrie but they seemingly have nothing to say apart from saying goodbye to her damp ridden flat that needs rewired.

I know I’ve just ranted about the same but everything in this show seems to happen in between what we actually see and I think that’s the case here. Samantha and Carrie are gassing on the phone all the time. So she wasn’t that arsed.

For all this talk about how awful AJLT and The Idol has been as HBO (Max) shows, I’ve forgotten the real horror of their remake of Gossip Girl.
 
I haven’t finished the episode but I’m absolutely screaming at the idea Kim got $1 million for that cold open, and also insisted Patricia Field also got 3x her day rate for dressing her in that cab scene. I literally can’t cope.
 
Nya has reached the pinnacle of her career and is sulking because ANDRE RASHED isn’t there to share it with her? Get a grip you STUPID BITCH!!!

And of all the people that were there, Steve wasn’t?!

Such a weird note to leave it on as it leaves Carrie with very little to do next season other than wait around for Aidan. Unless her patience is TESTED by the reappearance of the Russian, Jack Berger or the SEXY GHOST of Mr Big.

After getting the initial shock, it wasn't really that bad but I would have liked to heard her say eυχαριστώ as that seems to trip up most people including myself who used to leave AB stores muttering ELF CHRISTO under my breath.
