Cher - Christmas

The Darlene Love track had best be a duet version of All Alone On Christmas. One of the most underrated Xmas songs.

I assumed it would be dual foghorns on Christmas (Baby Please Come Home). Fine with me as long as Buble stays away from that one. I was pleased to see Queen of Christmas Darlene above him on the Amazon hype sticker.

The guests don't really scream taking you to the festive disco but I have faith that Cher knows well enough to do the necessary.

Just confirmed by Darlene herself!

HMV has a release date of 20 October for the CD and 17 November for the ruby red vinyl.

Anyone interested in some Cher-lato?

Absolutely. Mixed with Fast Food Rockers and Steps - or maybe just Believe being pushed down some steps!

Is she filming a video? She'll surely/cherly be doing the promo rounds. Strictly would be divine.

There's just something about that beefy guitar steel that came with the CH ER Metro songs that spilled over into their other work such as Tina Turner (When The Heartache Is Over), Tatjana (Crazy Way About You) and even Kylie/Anna/Pandora (On A Night Like This). I'm already feeling quite attached to what this could be.

Screaming, shaking, crying, throwing up!

What an EARWORM of a chorus. She has delivered once again. 😍

I got one request
DJ, play a Christmas song!
I wanna be dancing all night long
It's cold outside
But it's warm in here
And that's the only thing I want this year

I was almost thinking we were getting an Annie and Al Green moment on track 12, but that would be one clumsy fit for a retitle. What a wait we now have.

I repeat my earlier NAYSAYER post that a LOT of those tracks look like they could be MISTLESLOW.

My heart skipped a bit when I saw that but yes it’s too muddly for it to be true

I'm now guessing maybe an EP's worth of Cher does Christmas disco.

Can't say I am too excited about Cher doing Santa Baby and is that Buble song even festive? I assume Please Come Home For Christmas is the chestnut.

Hmmmmm

THE CHEEKY GIRLS SUDDENLY HAVE A GREATEST CHRISTMAS SONG EVER RIVAL :disco:
