CHER Misc 2020s (1 Viewer)

I finally succumbed to the CH ER artificial intelligence vocals and was blow(i)n away by these:

Could not believe this visually:

And of course these have happened:

This works really well (and ironically it's a way of singing CH ER actually had accessed to had she not always bulldozed her way through songs to get out the booth and back on her bike or whatever she's into these days):

Shame it wasn't the original arrangement, but I'm kind of into the idea of a CH ER candlelight covers album now:

Oh you are kidding at people not allowing videos to get played off youtube - the first is Bohemian Rhapsody.

Interviewing at CH ER's yesterday.

I do agree about the Madge ones not being up to par. Bohemian Rhapsody on the other hand I thought was hauntingly beautiful - probably because Freddie's vocal range is more humungous and befitting of the CH ER treatment.

Listen this is too intense for me.

What is this from? I need more of it.

Edit: okay it appears as though it is 2 separate interviews from the same show. That's actually a shame as it was totally different for CHER. Not least because they absolutely should have worked together.

Whilst I did not care for J-Hud singing so powerfully, I do think she would have had Cher's backing and encouragement to do so (the part where Cher looks like she's going to quip "you want me to follow that?" I did love) and they have great chemistry. Love these stills completely untouched:

Sonny & Cher's 1971 hit single, "All I Ever Need Is You", is featured in a new Apple commercial. :disco:

Someone needs to take a paper towel, soak up that leak and throw it away :D

The long-awaited vinyl edition of Living Proof is out in less than a week and it's looking GLORIOUS:

A Greatest Hits? The old songs would suggest so and would be a good tie in for the book.

I presumed theyā€™d reissue Christmas this year too, given how well it did last yearā€¦

I was thinking about the Christmas album earlier in the week. I do hope they give it another push, and of course one of the other songs would be good to get a video/single treatment/perf however I do hope 'DJ' becomes a Christmas staple. I'll start promoting it early December :disco:

Vegas, re-releases or ice cream flavours are not what I want from her. A new album, movie and tour please.

21 songs, ridiculous :D

Looks like we are getting a new song though!

TWENTY ONE TRACKS?

There's almost 60 years to chose from!

What I'd really like is a dance compilation. Madonna did it brilliantly. Tits out versions of her 70s and 80s stuff is exactly what the gay doctor ordered.

Apparently A Woman's Story has been remastered for this, so I'd actually permit this 1CD faux pas for such a landmark occasion (however, I think I'd rather they just remaster all the Spector sessions - and it does make me wonder if this period is going to be a particularly outrageous segment in the book, hence its inclusion). I'm just imagining a no shits giving single Cher in the 70s reacting to anything Spector was trying..
