Cyprus have announced they’re going with Andrew Lambrou for 2023. He already came 7th in the Australian national final this year:

At least he's a gay who likes uptempo I guess. But that Australia Decides performance was very weak.

I think this is to please their domestic audience more than anything else for having sent too many people with zero connection to the island over the past years

Why so negative? Did you even see those arms?

It sounds like an average twink MF entry so @Jacques should be pleased.

It will likely qualify - Australia and Greece are in their semi final although the latter might not end up being in Liverpool after all.

Probably best for the Greek thread but the girl who finished second in the internal selection is suing them because of some rather obvious dodgy going ons during the process. If it goes to court then Greece will be forced to withdraw.

PANIK should be ashamed of themselves to go on with the release as if nothing has happened and within a declared national mourning.
People haven't been retrieved, 2 Cypriot students still missing in the train. Disgusting inability to read the room and empathize.

Of course I meant Fuego. :eyes:
Not really. It would be hard not be in a downward spiral (in relative terms) from one of the greatest Eurovision performances of all time, but all the Cypriot entries since then have been solid. Even ‘Ela’ is a great song (arguably the best song Cyprus has entered since Fuego) - she just couldn’t sing a note.

It’s a different country!

My comment is not about CybC going on with broadcasting their song as if nothing has happened which is the state broadcaster of another state and not my business to judge if they could have waited a couple of days out of respect, it's about PANIK which is a greek record label, based in Greece going on as if nothing has happened ignoring the public sentiment of the people they live among. For measurement it's worth nothing that Amazon out of respect postponed the release of a film trailer that involved a train accident and they have nothing to do with the country. Thickness is a state of mind, not a question of borders.

Is the song about trains?

Probably rubbish but there’s rumours going round that there was a fair bit of miming going on during this performance.
