Wham! and George Michael bassist. Anyone who followed pop in the 80s will recognise his face from many appearances with George Michael/Wham!, even if they don't know the name.

Apparently this was a US #5 (UK #41) in 1989 and features George. If I knew it, I've long since forgotten it.

:( I saw this earlier as Shirlie and now Andrew Ridgeley have tweeted about it.

I have his solo album somewhere.

He didn't tweet much himself. This was his last one :(

I recognised him as part of Wham every bit as much as Pepsi and Shirlie. He gave "I'm Your Man" a lot of its punch, ditto "The Edge Of Heaven". Bless him, RIP.

I first read that as he had passed away on This Morning

Actually amazed that no one has ever died on This Morning. It seems like the place to do it.
