Her third song to do so after CGYOOMH and Padam Padam.

I must say I'm surprised it got there before Love At First Sight, All The Lovers, Wow, Spinning Around, The Locomotion etc.

Surprised Love at First Sight isn’t there yet as well. Unlike In Your Eyes it made an impact in the USA and played on MTV/VH1 for years here. Locomotion should be closer too unless they don’t combine all its versions. I imagine Head and Padam Padam are the only ones heavily playlisted.

They both feature heavily on her tour set lists since Fever but I would have bet money LAFS would have gotten there first.

LAFS had a US single version, which presumably has mopped up some plays.

For some inexplicable reason In Your Eyes is one of Kylie's more popular songs in India of all places. I wonder if it has anything to do with it.

Also hasn't Santa Baby already crossed the threshold or is it just here that it's been strangely successful?

Sorry you're right, Santa Baby has 247m. I missed/forgot about it because for obvious reasons it's fallen out of her current top ten on Spotify.

In Your Eyes is probably just favoured more highly on Spotify playlists than Love At First Sight. It's the first track on Kylie Minogue Radio.

It's the second most streamed version of LAFS, although only with just under 1.1m. The second most streamed version of IYE (Infinite Disco Livestream) has just under 1.2m.

Kylie having better streaming numbers than Janet Jackson is wild for someone who has only rarely been a global artist.

And as well as the Santa Baby erasure, I assume @VoR is also choosing to omit (or possibly forget) Higher with Taio Cruz, which has 104m.

I guess Kylie has kept a much higher current profile during the streaming era than Janet has, even if it has seldom been global.

I think In Your Eyes has decent playlisting, but it seems it’s just connected better than some of the other more obvious ones. Which is great if somewhat surprising.

Higher doesn’t show on her own page which is weird, must be due to the licensing or credits.

I think that’s possibly a bit of an America-centric view of what constitutes a global artist. I would imagine Kylie has fairly consistently sold more records in Europe and Asia, certainly this side of the Millennium.
