Jennifer Lopez - This is Me... Now

she DOES deserve at the very least a couple of GG noms (Monster-in-Law, Hustlers). they've awarded far worse performances!

Why doesn't she just sleep with someone for an award? It's a little old-fashioned, but she's not going anywhere.

She's going to get the Amazon Prime Longform Music Video Award for this This Is Me...Now short film :disco:

And a third incoming if Kiss of the Spider Woman comes off. It's a fabulous part! Vanessa Williams did it on broadway in the 90s.

I can believe it. If you're an average person sat on the sofa looking for something to watch on a Saturday night, are you more likely to tune into a fun action romp with J.Lo, or a 3 hour slog about nuclear war?

But which one are you more like to part with money for? :D

Not sure what this means with the album itself but here we go

It's very much giving

Facts are facts people!! :disco:

And I’m not shading!

I’ve had to learn to love J Lo as the other half is a fan. He’s had to do the same for Madonna. It’s called gay relationship compromise.

I've randomly listened to JLo a fair bit lately so let's give this a shot. despite having no classic albums, each of them (not AKA) does have enough 9s and 10s that her discography feels solid overall.

Do It Well is so underrated. Mile In These Shoes was a hot tinny banger also.

I always forget how "I'm Gonna Be Alright" goes but remember I QUITE LIKE IT

"Do It Well" and "Hold it Don't Drop it" are rotten to me, not sure why

At least she's showcasing TASTE in samples, you can never do wrong with a bit of SEAN DE PAUL (I know the original is by someone else but I doubt Jlo knew that).

but in all honesty, I do have a soft spot for her iconic Red One trifecta of singles, she really did TRUMP me.

On The Floor (Feat. Pitbull)/Dance Again (Feat. Pitbull)/Live It Up (Feat. Pitbull)

she will always be famous for that. Throw in Booty (Feat. Pitbull or Iggy Azealia, depending on where you live :disco: ) and Hypnotico and you've got yourself a hot fever dream.

Absolute state of that song and performance
