Lana Del Rey - The Right Person Will Stay (new album with awful artwork) + tour 2025

She sang "Until I Found You" with Stephen Sanchez too, which sounded great

Quavvo is teasing a July 4th release for "Tough". The snippet I heard sounds like a hit.

How exciting to hear her on something with a pulse.

the southern country meets hip-hop vibe of this makes me feel it will be HUGE. I like it a lot on first listen.

It's a BOP. I feel like some of it is a bit disjointed but love the chorus and bridge. Not sure the strategy of releasing the day before July 4th midweek and midday but should have a good idea of its performance after Friday when it gets added to playlists and such.

It's definitely very instant. If it gets playlist support on Spotify I could see it reaching top 20. I think I saw vinyl single(s) in the works (unless those are fan mades), which would also help.

It's reminiscent of the Lust for Life/ASAP/Weeknd stuff. No idea if this is intended to be on Lasso. It does have a bit of a country feel about it.

Side A: "Tough"
Side B: Instrumental

I was listening to BRAT but I'll gladly pause to give this hot shit a 30 minute on a loop stream.

OBSESSED with the video! the bit where she smiles at the camera and then gets down on her knees... and the "I'll give it back when I get there" in the car. pleasingly unhinged.

will be interesting to see if this holds and grows, it got a bunch of big playlist adds today

New leaks

"Won Me Over" with G-Eazy (samples "Head Over Feet" by Alanis - was intended to be on G-Eazy's 2017 album)

"Ice Cream" :vomit:

G-Eazy is trash so THERE!
Ice Cream is ok, I lol at this random UPBEAT Lana Era every time I listen to the leaks, I wonder what could have been if this, Go Go Dancer, Queen Of Disaster and BBM Baby had been properly released?? Penguin Prison sure knew his stuff.

I hope she looks back fondly on this stuff since there are bits and bobs on BTD that immediately call back to the unreleased pop stuff (This is what makes us girls, Lolita, Off to the races, Radio).

Falls a bit on global chart on Saturday but still rising in the US

“Tough” UK #32

Other chart entries:
AUS: #40
GER: #38
NZL: #23

On pace to debut top 30 on the Hot 100

She added "Body Electric" to last night's set list in Paris:

She also sound checked with the lovely unreleased "Roses Bloom for You" :disco:

thank god it's still HAPPENING. she's definitely running back the claim that it's country though. sounds like it'll be... a Lana Del Rey album. :disco:
