This was so lovely. Not watched reunion yet, though.

As much as I did find Alfie a bit of an irritant throughout (and if I'm totally honest, it's because I see my 20 year old self in him), I do think they were the most deserving winners.

Thrilled that Betty and James finished with that margin.

If I'd have been Stephen or Viv, when it was surely so obvious they were fighting for 3rd place at best, I'd have splashed that last £150 or whatever they finished with on a couple of sex workers for a few hours.

Yeah feel like those pair just gave up at the end, happy to have made it, when you watch the reunion you can see the experience took years off Stephen, and I'm happy for them (and also for me and my prospects of adventuring well into my twilight years)

To compare, it got 3.4m in the overnights in the chart published this week.

Possibly also worth mentioning that although it finished #2 in the chart behind Red Eye, it was technically the most viewed show of the week. Red Eye only had 2.7m viewers this week - but 4m had previously watched that episode on ITVX prior to broadcast, and so get added to the total for the week of broadcast.
