i just don't understand what they think they'll gain from drawing this out and him defending his actions. we all know the rules, we've all made sacrifices and these attempts at gaslighting and rewriting history insults the nation's intelligence and adds insult to injury. as they continue to draw it out like this it will only make things worse.

you've essentially decided to throw away your public health message during a killer pandemic to save your aide. it beggars belief.
 
I feel like they're playing out the Trump playbook and it's just not cutting it with the majority. I have to assume the vast majority of people recognise this as a dangerous lie.
 
I really don't think anyone gives a fuck if his son is autistic beyond three bots on Twitter - not only is the whole story more full of holes than a GRUYERE, there are thousands of people in similar situations to him, or worse. I know of someone who got mild Corona but had to self-isolate in the same house as his acutely asthmatic child. The rules were STAY AT HOME for everyone, no amount of EXEMPTIONS will change that for him retrospectively.

The most interesting thing about this is his "taking questions" bit because if the guy is as ARROGANT as he TRANSPIRES to be, that could totally be his DEATH KNELL.
 
also something that keeps getting overlooked even with the fact that once they arrived in the north east they SELF-ISOLATED AND DIDN'T SEE ANYBODY, ONLY HAVING SHOPPING DELIVERED TO THE DOORSTEP

also all it takes is for him to be spotted on CCTV or on a traffic dash cam to throw his excuses totally off

no mention of this farce in Danish media sadly. we could do with a distraction and a real fuck up rather than the tedious nitpicking from the opposition which is inevitably happening now to sway one or two voters
 
It remains QUITE DELICIOUS that while the Tory back benchers are scrambling to distance themselves from this, the genius double-drop delivery from the Guardian and the Mirror means pretty much the entire Cabinet had already come out in support and are now not even able to hurl Boris under the bus as they're no doubt itching to. :D
 
Gove HAS deleted his tweet. Perhaps he's looking for another opportunity to stab Boris in the back.

The rest of the cabinet are pretty much thickos who are only there because they'll do what they're told, so I don't see much machiavellian scheming from them.


Pretty sure Rishi, Suella and Nadine have never had an independent thought in their lives.

I think Gove has deleted his because he literally said what Dominic did was "not a crime" which considering he's under POLICE INVESTIGATION may not age well.
 
Gove is a spineless wank at the best of times. He has all the fortitude and resilience of the wrapping paper on a 7 year old's Christmas present.

Will he continue with his The Devil Wears Prada (and you get NADA) stance, a tear-jerking heartfelt Sophie’s Choice moment or maybe even a confused yet glamorous turn at Death Becomes Her (“NOW a warning?)

Personally I’m holding out of for Mamma Mia Meryl and the possibility of him breaking out into SONG

Still think you're all getting too excited though. Delivering Brexit as Cummings and Johnson have basically been given all the credit for doing is ALL that matters for YEARS for so many people. They could murder your granny and the same people would line up to defend these cunts. It's the UK Trumpism. Anything they do has been given immunity by the fact they delivered Brexit.

It wouldn't because lockdown rules are so different from country to country. It's such a specific thing that only people in the UK will be interested.

Earlier today he tweeted in support of Jeremy Corbyn and basically said we'd have been better off under him. That's a massive shift, I'm guessing even the cuntier elements of the media are realising aligning themselves with the Tories is a hiding to nothing.

I’ve seen some GMB since working from home and as insufferable as Piers Morgan is he has been asking the questions that people want answered and voicing on the point opinions lately. If only he’d let the other person actually try to answer.

It's not necessarily about the specific lockdown rules (and trust me, he broke a rule that was/is in place everywhere in Europe in some capacity) - it's more about the UK government pulling yet another incredible stunt with the high-rank tories covering each other's back; and mainland media has been very keen to cover the rapidly accelerating moral disintegration within UK politics ever since Jun 2016.
