Emily was dispatched to Channel 4 news this evening to talk to Keir's 'stop the boats' plans, which she obviously didn't entirely relish. We did get an exasperated smile and epic eye roll out of it, sadly not yet online.

God she is just like me at work - the barely disguised disdain. Thank goodness I never ran for parliament.

Also, big yawn at this type of gotcha interviewing - like it or not this is a real humanitarian issue, we can't go on with people dying every week in the channel. If Labour has a plan to try and solve this, and share that responsibility with the EU, then let them try. It's called working together.
