Yeah where did the budget come from? Because it sure wasn’t there last year?
 
RTÉ are not exactly rolling in money either so who knows where it came from!

It wasn't that expensive. Behind the idea was a Spanish guy, he gave some interviews here about it. They asked him to produce de videoclip, that was done in 5 days, and talking with Bambie he found out they still had no idea what they were going to do in Eurovision, so he presented a project and they liked it. It was more creativity than money.

Btw this guy, the stage director, is only 22 years old; it's unbelievable RTÉ put themselves in hands of someone so young, probably it was the tightest budget :D Somehow it worked brilliantly.

It's interesting that 2006 in some ways doesn't feel THAT long ago, but in others, you COULD NOT get away with ANY of Silvia's Eurovision antics in 2024... :D
