The annoying bit for ME is that the lyric refers to the pizza having extra cheese, but the slice she has in the ad actually looks like there's a pretty standard cheese-to-sauce ratio :tongueout:

I wouldn't especially call myself a fan or anything, but the idea she's not still pretty bankable (or that most artists wouldn't kill for those sorts of figures) is just laughable!
 
Oh. I just thought we were expecting her to get further than 15 years of chart relevance. Which is still impressive. It's just that anything pre-pandemic is basically from the Stone Age now.

Why would we expect her to get more than fifteen years of chart relevance? She’s hitting forty soon, not too many teenagers find forty year olds cool or relevant and they essentially determine the singles chart. About a handful of female artists have ever achieved that, so our KATY P was hardly going to be a front runner.

All artists have peaks and her was Teenage Dream. That her random features can happily command 200 million streams this far down the track is fair play to her.
 
she scaled considerable heights across two consecutive campaigns in her imperial era, so I think there's some impression that she's over now because she can't bag a #1 smash anymore. but as you said @Devil, these things really don't last forever.

I believe she can snatch another Harleys sized hit or two and that should be just fine.
 
Frankly I also wouldn't be surprised if she did manage to get another number one at some point. Probably most likely a feature, but then, she seems to be well liked enough at this point that a proper comeback comeback era if she found the right song doesn't feel totally implausible either.
