I think Taste is by far the weakest of the three teebs. it's catchy and fun but a bit nothingy to me. the album has much better to offer.

120%. But I’m glad they’ve gone for it as single 3 after those two behemoth curtain raisers while holding back the likes of Juno and others to elongate the campaign

Taste has that Americana / adult pop vibe that I like. The other two are a bit bubblegum quirky for me. I see the appeal though.

Please Please Please is not bubblegummy to my ears, if anything the chorus is ABBA-esque

Espresso is effervescent pop like a glass of freshly popped, ice cold Kylie rose Prosecco. Bubblegum it isn’t

for me despite being shortish it's a cherry picker but I'm keeping about 9 songs and I think it's a hit. it reminds me of (a more chill) Future Nostalgia a bit. but the closing "ballads" are much more successful.
