This makes it easier to understand but it’s still laughable isn’t it? I mean the flaws…

They’re not separating gender from sexuality if they’re also separating elements of sexuality. They’ve picked the 3 main ones and discarded the spectrum of sexuality as though biology (and, well, kindness and consideration) no longer exists.

And the idea that “well we fought for ages to be gay and proud and we did that now and we’re a bit tired so you lot can sort your own problems out, we’re fine thanks” is pretty much ignoring the entire history of equality campaigning and and gay rights…

But to then be brazen and create and alliance for it and promote this carved out subsection of queerness as something to be proud about and fight for?

I just DON’T UNDERSTAND HUMANS!

There is absolutely no point in trying to make sense of them as a legitimate organisation. For an organisation that purports itself as being for lesbian, gay and bisexual people to the exclusion of trans people, trans people seem to be the only thing they ever talk about. I think they are trying slightly harder to behave like a legitimate charity these days (there are a handful of "info sheets" on topics relevant to lesbian, gay and bisexual people on the website) but everything else they are doing seems to be squarely focused on undermining the rights and participation of trans people in society.
