it will do a lot better with the juries than with the public
Oh I think that's a ButterTart prediction that's likely to come to fruition tbh.
What effect?I can't get past the effect on their voices, which, for an act where the storyline is BUT THEY CAN SIINNNGGG, is an odd choice
Like a gravelly sound on their vocal. Like it's coming from a vinyl. What effect?
I’m guessing it’s one of those things you can’t unhear once you know it’s there but I hadn’t picked up on that at all.Like a gravelly sound on their vocal. Like it's coming from a vinyl.

There is some distortion added to the vocals in some verses and the "What the hell just". I hear it especially on the beginning of the verses after the choruses. That effect you get on slightly rocky vocals like Avril Lavinge, but a bit more subtle than that.I’m guessing it’s one of those things you can’t unhear once you know it’s there but I hadn’t picked up on that at all.
Poor FORGOTTEN Olsen BrothersIs there a rule against adding any vocal effect to the raw vocal on the night? They usually add plenty of REVERB so I'm guessing not.
It also sounds like the vocals have been compressed to within an inch of their life. Surely with a VOCAL GROUP you want DYNAMICS?There is some distortion added to the vocals in some verses and the "What the hell just". Yes this is what I was referring. I can't tell if it's deliberate or just shoddy, but either way I hate it.It also sounds like the vocals have been compressed to within an inch of their life. Surely with a VOCAL GROUP you want DYNAMICS?
It's a deliberate effect. It's meant to make them sound more EDGYYes this is what I was referring. I can't tell if it's deliberate or just shoddy, but either way I hate it.
The rule is literally there because of them!Poor FORGOTTEN Olsen Brothers![]()
You can add vocal effects as long as there’s no pitch correction. Is there a rule against adding any vocal effect to the raw vocal on the night? They usually add plenty of REVERB so I'm guessing not.
I hadn't heard it before, either. Still, it's only about the 6th most irritating thing about the song.
It hasn't UTTERLY DESTROYED IT AFTER OVER THIRTY YEARS like @VoR managed to do with Eternal Flame
