愛してるって 言わなきゃ殺す
FIGHT ME
I'm quite surprised at this. I've never been as aboard the Blanche bus as everyone else seems to be, I feel like Alma did everything Blanche did but better.Blanche was the only actually good song. There were a handful of others which were fun if you were drunk, but everything else was average at best.
This was a sultry gem.

Okay I’ll try it the other wayTRUST HATEFUL MOOPY to measure a Eurovision against how many things they didn’t like about it
Okay I’ll try it the other way
Struggling apart from that...
- It was nice to see Portugal of all countries finally win (And I don’t mind the song that much, I just hate Salvador)
- Moldova randomly finishing top three
- The UK not completely flopping
Yessss, Armenia was fantastic!NO LIES DETECTED
WELL MAYBE NORWAY
AND YOU MISSED AMTRAK FROM ARMENIA
Omg fly with me HaikuYessss, Armenia was fantastic!
The City Lights performance was ACTUAL ART. It was the ultimate portrayal of an anxious nervous breakdown
- The winner was a smackable cunt!
- The only decent song in the top five had the most LIFELESS PERF known to man
- The UK was actually underrated FOR ONCE!
- Dreadful hosting, ABYSMAL interval acts (bar ONUKA)
- The voting was incredibly dull, with the scores very polarised a la 2015
- Other than City Lights (studio only) none of the songs really had an AFTERLIFE
- Finland and Estonia left in the semis
- Lots of decent songs with underwhelming perfs (Belgium, Italy, North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, France, Azerbaijan…)
- The fact that the whole thing nearly went UP IN THE AIR when the organisation team ALL RESIGNED in February
Omg YES! I've ALWAYS thought this and think it's actually one of my favourites of recent years. The winner was hideous but there's so much strength in depth!
I entirely agree with this! (even though I would have rather we sent super ropey Salena and her Street Fighter backings to see it ON THE BIG STAGE butchered further /)The UK was actually underrated FOR ONCE!
I loved Greece. I liked the way she seemed to unhinge her jaw as she stretched for those high notes she was miming.Even that SCALDING DOG EGG from Greece was good!

I didn’t know until today that people didn’t like 2017. I’d put it ahead of 2014, 2015 and 2021 of the recent contests.2019 and 2021 were classics too but it feels like basically *everyone* recognises that, whereas 2017 is a real underrated gem that you have to fight the corner of. I can proudly say it was ahead of its time, to be honest. It wasn't so commercialised. You had to really be a music lover, be a true fan of music and the love of being open to really appreciate that record. It's just a special piece in Eurovision's body of work that will forever live on. The older the contest gets the more people will come to appreciate it actually and check it out
