Cher - Christmas

So unusual to see a full mime on British TV in 2023 with absolutely zero pretence of being anything but!

The whole show was fantastic though. Absolutely insane line-up, even by Graham Norton standards, and it was adorable to see a couch full of Hollywood A-listers completely fangirling over Cher.

I don’t think this has been specifically posted yet, even though I’ve been evangelising about it elsewhere.

My god though, if you love the radio edit but “wish it was just a little bit more…” well this mix is very much a “little bit more.” :disco:

This has been on repeat since Friday. It is EVERYTHING.

Up to #2 on iTunes. It's not in the Spotify top 200 though, so I don't expect it to have too much impact.

'What Christmas Means To Me' with Stevie Wonder is at #129 on Spotify though, so I'm guessing that must have better playlist positioning.

I actually think this is my favourite album released this year!

Every new song is fabulous, and the covers are all done really well too! Plus, "Angels in the snow" could well turn out to be my new favourite Christmas song ever!!

What a sofa of absolute z listers !

Honestly Graham splash the cash!

(I really need to watch that episode)

Cher made a surprise appearance on The Tonight Show and starred in a sketch with Jimmy Fallon last night.

Take a look:

What a great little jump :disco:

Its Cher night on BBC2 tonight also with the Rylan special at 9pm. Also Royal Variety to come. Should stick around quite high until NY :disco:
A big jump, actually. ;)

There's also the Strictly Come Dancing final to come.

Is she still in the UK, or is Strictly a pre-recorded performance?

Bloody hell thats good promo - they basically played the lyric video for DJ Christmas :D BBC don't do that lightly

This ‘Cher at the BBC’ compilation is a bit of a cop-out compared to others. Only 2 actual live performances, about 70% of them from the late 90s and some just showing music videos.
