I'm sorry but MADAME X is one of her best albums ever

2. Ray of Light
3. Confessions On A Dance Floor
4. Erotica

Surely MDNA is worse than Hard Candy? but then again, just for the sole existence of Love Spent (and Girl gon Wah) it just edges it.

Spanish Lesson and Voices my cunt.

EIT: That is a SOLID bullet proof Top 5 @Suedey

It’s hard to rank when mixing the 80’s albums with her 90-00’s. And it’s hard to rate True Blue with its incredible singles and horrible filler tracks.

It’s the easiest to rank Hard Candy and everything that came afterwards, because they’re all bottoms each one worse than the other.

Sorry but your opinion has been nullified by that Hard Candy placing

Hard Candy as an album is a bit of a mess but it contains at least 4 genuine bops while the ones below it…. Don’t.

I can probably get on board with AL and Madame X being better albums artistically, but I personally don’t prefer to listen to them.

Like A Virgin is not R&B! The debut album is her 80s R&B phase.

The only one that counts as R&B is the cover and I prefer the STR version anyway.

The album is fun but proper trashy - the only other track I truly enjoy from that album is Dress You Up.

Well I mean Stay is Motown doo-wop
Pretender has an R&B base
Even Into The Groove, LAV and MG can be considered R&Bish
Then of course is Shoo Boo Do also Motown R&B
etc. etc.
And plus it was produced by Nile Rogers Hhello??

I just had to go back to Spotify and see if I was going mad and nope, still not claiming that as an R&B album! Angel comes close and yes the cover is. That’s about it.

ITG is very 80s R&B but that doesn’t count :eyes:
