I saw the violence claims on twitter yesterday, started looking, but then felt it was all a little too grubby. I may reconsider.
 
He was one of the attackers in this incident:

A gang of teenagers who launched a horrific attack on another using machetes, an axe and a golf club shockingly avoided jail.

The skull of Tom Hilton, who was 17 at the time of the attack, was exposed during the shock attack, and he was also left with gaping wounds to his shoulders and legs when he was set upon at Old Paper Mill in Hermitage Street, Rishton, in August 2021.

During the trial last year, Preston Crown Court heard how Mr Hilton had gone to the popular meeting place, but was chased by a group of boys he later described as "like a pack of gorillas."
 
There's quite a few suggestions that the Gofundme is BS, that the girl running it is a drug dealer. That being said a drug dealer can devastated to lose a friend.

The thing I find a little odd about the gofundme is that they don't actually say what they are going to do with the money, do they?

Rumour has it that the £30k gofundme is a drug debt that’s he’s somehow embroiled in. Allegedly.

I saw the stuff about him kicking the shit out of some lad and the subsequent 'let him die' replies under the story.

Also, that Twitter account is a hot mess of right wing bullshit.

Yes, if they were funding a search party of some sort it would make sense but otherwise, it's a bit tawdry asking people for cash.
 
It is a bit strange that the family have gone with ABDUCTION which is statistically much, much less likely than accidental death/misadventure...

 
Which I think is why people are so suspicious. Either they know who would abduct him and why or it's BS

Jay Slater’s mum Debbie Duncan fears that her son has been kidnapped as the search for him enters its fourth day.

The 19-year-old from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, England was last heard from on Monday when he spoke to a friend, named Lucy Mae, over the phone and informed her he was trying to walk back to his accommodation, which was an 11-hour journey on foot.

However, with no reports of his whereabouts in Tenerife since then, his mother flew to the Canary Islands and now worries he has been “bundled off somewhere”.

His friend Lucy Mae has also confessed that she is beginning to worry that he isn’t lost, but has been kidnapped too.

She shared that the “more time goes on, the more I'm sure he has been taken”.

“At first I wasn't so sure but now I'm convinced,” she also told the Mail. “He is not stupid - if he left the house on his own he would have walked to the road and then tried to flag a car down or stop someone for help.”

She continued: “The more time passes and he has not been seen then the more we are convinced he has been taken by someone and is being held against his will.”

And with him being on licence, you’d imagine his family havent told police the whole story, becuase his licence terms would send him straight to prison if hes implicated in another offence

Well I just read that this is the second time she’s done a go fund me, for a missing friend, the friend was found a few days later, the thing is he’s been missing for 5 days now, how they gonna explain this, cos nobody can survive being out there with no water or food 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
