I reckon Janet should have done smaller venues. It seems the hardcore fans (and I know a tonne of MJ/Jacksons fans going where like me, they’d probably also go out of their way to see Rebbie and LaToya) only want the front block seats, and they’ve mostly gone or are up for resale. For casuals, seats in the rear of an arena just aren’t worth it unless they’re severely discounted.

There totally needs to be a bigger price range to sell them. You can’t just list extortionate VIP prices in Block A, and then £150 for practically every other seat in the lower tiers, and £70 for literally all of the nosebleeds. I’d rather go for a great seat at a West End show for £70.

So could you get the £76-£99 tickets in the end? I know they’re a bit shit seats, but I only saw her in July so not too concerned and not going to shell out over £100 to see her again this close to that.

What "papering services" do you use @Ellie ? I've had some quite good luck with Showfilm recently and it's got me back into it...but I don't belong to any others.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Janet turned up on there- and I was holding out to see if anything half decent appeared for London at the weekend.

Yeah, pretty much ShowFilmFirst at the moment. My favourite one was a one man operation via an email list, and he retired his services last year :(

Central Tickets also does various events, but it’s mostly a £15 charge per booking rather than the £4 I used to pay on the better services.

There are others for theatre only too, like https://playbyplay.co.uk/ which is a subscription service (I didn’t renew mine in 2020 but still get their offers by email to be nosey and see what they have). I might renew one day.

And at the moment TodayTix has a decent price drop service for various London theatre shows 1-3 days in advance with up to 70% discounts, only accessible to their Silver/Gold Members - to get that you just need to book at least 6 tickets with them in a year (I’ve done 41 already). Have seen some West End shows with that in great seats for as little as £12.

Are tickets still available for this? Think I paid £110 for The Hyde Park gig, and was a million miles away and worth EVERY PENNY!

I also saw Nicki Minaj 10 years ago for the same price I paid to see MOLCHAT DOMA this month.

I started at around #670 in the queue and was in within a couple of minutes. Have never been that lucky (lucky lucky) before!

Maybe no self respecting homosexual is willing to have a night out in SHEFFIELD.
Enjoy DEMPSEYS bbz.

Thanks! Great insider info!

SFF seems to be the best then. Good to know!

Just seen an old Smash Hits from 1984, with an advert for Culture Club dates at Wembley Arena. Tickets £8.50 and £7.50 :D

She added more Australian dates

Oh Lucille, I assume you've been sent into a coma with this? It's my favourite song of the year.

Discovered them through a guy off grindr of course.

Anyway, I hope Kylie does Hold Onto Now and doesn't commit too much to the recent collabs which have collapsed the momentum for me a bit.

Two new UK dates:

20th May - Manchester
2nd June - London O2

Tickets already in presales.

Not sure why she didn't add the 28th, unless she really doesn't want to perform on her birthday.

Tickets purchased for the new 02 date! :disco: £87 each and a rather pleasant stress-free* ticket purchasing experience to be honest. Makes me want to buy MOAR.

(*except my bloody Tesco's credit card which doesn't like any form of my double barrelled name so I had to put it all on REAL DEBIT MONEY :eyes:)

#WhoooooOOOOooopppp!!!

Three more dates added:

Tue 3rd London
Thur 5th Birmingham
Friday 6th Glasgow

Tickets on sale on Friday.

Really weird how she's having to return to cities. There are gaps in her schedule which would allow her to play consecutive nights in London for instance.

Also no Friday or weekend London date seems like a huge missed opportunity.
